Corona virus threat in toys that are made in China

Toy manufacturing units are soon going to be shut in China due to the virus that carries itself in the paints and inks that are used in the printing of toys.

Strict government norms may impose import curbs on toys. Government has identified many toy companies in China that  do not  follow Toys safety compliance EN-71 for Inks.

Corona virus is one of the concerns for Indian Government. Inks can act as a host for corona virus and when children come in contact with these toys, printed with infected inks they are vulnerable to serious health hazards.

According to reports it has been found that the workers working on toys manufacturing units in China are infected with Corona virus thus escalating the risk associated with spread of Corona virus in other parts of the world wherever the toy travels. WHO has declared a health emergency since 9800 people have been infected by this virus across the globe.
